What is an affiliate program?

An affiliate program is an opportunity for website owners and bloggers to receive a commission for selling another company’s products or services when the sale occurs. These programs use website cookies to keep track of customers as they move between websites. That way, when someone visiting your blog/website clicks on your affiliate links to our website, the link can be traced back to your blog/website then you get a share of the sale price.

What is Gumroad?

Gumroad is a platform that enables creators to sell products directly to consumers. They also manage our MBMK affiliate program. Click here to learn more about Gumroad.

The cookie in your affiliate link lasts for 30 days; after clicking your affiliate link, if they make a purchase within 30 days you’ll receive commission on that purchase. Therefore, someone can click on the link, leave the page, and then return in 27 days and make a purchase, and you’ll still get credit for that sale.

After we add you to the affiliate program, you’ll receive a confirmation email saying that you’ve been added to our affiliate program.  That email should include a link that looks something like this https://gumroad.com/a/801780851; this is the link that you must use in order to get credit for sales that originate from your blog/website.

Payments! How and when do I get paid?
