Red Passion Smoothie

Red Passion Smoothie - Beets, apple, banana, raspberries, strawberries and ginger
Beets are rich in minerals and vitamins including potassium, fiber, iron, vitamins A, B & C,  beta-carotene, beta-cyanine and folic acid.  They’re also high in boron which makes them a natural aphrodisiac.

Prep time: 10 minutes | Yield: Serves 2

INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Strawberries
1 Cup Water
1 Red Delicious Apple, peeled and cored
1/2 Cup Beet, diced
1/2 Cup Rasberries
2 Ripe Bananas
1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger, diced
Mint for garnish
Optional: 1/2 Cup Avocado

Required equiment: Blender (We use the Oster Beehive or the Blendtec Total Blender)

METHOD
1. Combine ingredients into blender; blend for at least 1 minute or until desired consistency.
2. Enjoy your smoothie
