Cilantro Lime Jalapeno Rice

Here’s a super easy way to prepare rice.  You can use any kind of rice that you like. I usually use brown rice for my recipes because unlike white rice like white basmati, brown rice is a whole grain and contains the bran, germ, and endosperm.  White rice is processed and its bran and germ (the most nutritious parts) are removed. I do love the fragrance of basmati rice. And fortunately there is brown basmati rice like this one by Lundberg and this one by Pride of India.

For this recipe I used basmati rice because I happened to have some that I needed to finish.  Look, ma! I’m still alive after eating white basmati rice! I enjoyed this rice in a vegan fajita bowl with black beans.

Try this recipe and let me know what you think.
