Cajun cuisine is a product of the French Acadian people who were deported from Canada by the British to Louisiana’s Acadiana region. You will find many vegetables in the Cajun cuisine, but celery, onion and bell peppers are considered to be the Holy Trinity in Cajun dishes. Although there is no specific seasoning blend used in Cajun cuisine, many times cayenne pepper and black pepper are found in Cajun seasoning blends, even though Cajun food isn’t necessarily very spicy.
This simple meal prep is inspired my Cajun cuisine and makes use of MBMK version of a Cajun seasoning blend.
