\nWhen I first started taking my nutrition more seriously I turned to social media for healthy meal ideas.\u00a0 Meal Prep Mondays<\/a> (Alex Torres) was one of the first Instagram accounts<\/a>\u00a0I followed and is one of the reasons why I started doing meal prep<\/a>.\u00a0 In the beginning I had very little idea as to what I was doing when it came to meal prep but I continued to research and try different recipes.\u00a0 Over time I got better at planning my meals and one day I got a major surprise.\u00a0 \u00a0Meal Prep Mondays featured my Southwestern Style meal prep<\/a> on its Instagram page<\/a>.\u00a0 I’m sure for many people it was not a big deal; it was just another meal prep pic on Instagram.\u00a0 But for me that feature was pivotal.\u00a0 That moment was very encouraging and played a crucial role in my decision to start My Body My Kitchen a year later.<\/p>\n
