Sean Peters, founder of My Body, My Kitchen

My Body, My Kitchen is dedicated to empowering you to live a healthy life!  The food we eat and how it is prepared greatly affects our health and we at My Body, My Kitchen want to empower you to take control; take control of your body by taking control of your kitchen.  Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring or bland; food should have color and flavor!  This website will provide you with recipes, shopping lists and meal prep ideas to help you get started on your journey to a healthier lifestyle.

If you are new to meal prep and cooking, be sure to check out our post on Getting Started with Meal Prep in The MBMK Guide, our MBMK Store and our page on Frequently Asked Questions.  If you have any questions about meal prep or our recipes, feel free to reach out us via our Contact page.

Everyone’s fitness and health goals are different and we encourage you to adjust our recipes and meal prep ideas to fit your needs.

About Sean

In January 2015, after an overwhelming demand for his recipes from his personal Instagram account, Sean launched mybodymykitchen.com.  Sean believes that food plays an invaluable role one’s overall health.  It is his dream that My Body, My Kitchen will become an online resource where readers can find information to help with the development of their physical and mental health.

Sean holds a PhD in  Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in the City of New York.  In addition to fitness and engineering, Sean is also passionate about entrepreneurship and education.  And although My Body, My Kitchen is his first independent venture, he has experience teaching entrepreneurship at the graduate and high-school level.   Sean has combined these four passions–engineering, education, entrepreneurship and fitness–to bring My Body, My Kitchen to you!

In his spare time he enjoys running the streets of New York City with the Harlem Run Crew.
