Green Ginger Berry Smoothie

Green smoothie
Green smoothies are packed with antioxidants and are a great way to add servings of fresh fruit and vegetables into your diet.  Start your day with this green smoothie or have it as a snack.

Prep time: 10 minutes |  Yield: Serves 2

3 Cups Spinach or Kale, tightly packed
1 Cup Water or Coconut Water
3/4 Cup Blueberries or Strawberries
2 Ripe Bananas
2 Tbsp Fresh Ginger
4 Ice Cubes
Optional: 1/2 Cup Avocado
Required equiment: Blender (We use the Oster Beehive or the Blendtec Total Blender)
1. Combine ingredients into blender; blend for about 1 minute or until desired consistency.
2. Enjoy!
