Easy Caribbean Green Seasoning

Green seasoning is a popular ingredient used in many Caribbean stews, curries and roasted meat dishes. It consists of a variety of herbs including culantro (chadon beni), thyme, green onions, garlic and Cuban oregano (Mexican mint).

For this green seasoning recipe, I made use of the herbs available at my local supermarket.

Check out my Trinidadian pelau where I use green seasoning.

  1. Thanks so much for the seasoning recipe. I have health issues and this recipe I can’t wait to make. I wish that I could use a scotch bonnet pepper but alas I cannot. But, one day I’m going to try a little bit. Take care
