Cajun Pan Seared Salmon

cajun-pan-seared-salmonHere’s a quick and tasty way to prepare your salmon.  This recipe uses the our MBMK Cajun Seasoning Blend.

Prep time: 10 minutes . Cook Time: 10 minutes . Yield: Serves 4

4 6-Oz Salmon Fillets (skin on)
1-2 Tbsp MBMK Cajun Seasoning Blend
4 Sprigs of Thyme
Zest & Juice from 1 Lemon
1 to 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Salt to taste

1. Season all sides of the salmon fillets with cajun seasoning and salt. Set aside.
2. In a large non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add thyme and salmon (skin down) to skillet. Cook about 4 minutes until skin is crispy. Flip filets and cook for another 4 minutes. Depending on thickness of the salmon, you may need to adjust the cook time of your salmon.
3. Serve with a little lemon zest and lemon juice.
